3dbooru is again on a current build (Danbooru 1.12.1). Log and friends have made a tremendous effort to clean up a good deal of the tagme files and should be thanked profusely. We are quietly approaching 30K images. January has been a pretty good month I think.

New features of this build include:
- Auto-delete moderation queue (as seen on the original danbooru site).
- An improved tag box with better ways of sorting/showing related tag search results.
- Dmail - an internal PM System.
- A shortened name (typing ~three-dee-booru~ got obnoxious)
- A new logo because pachira's box came from an existing icon set. Besides, it was poorly drawn by me so it is moe, right?

One of my own choice for that week would have been this.
What can I say, I love a cute cosplay.
On the other hand my tastes line up quite a bit better for the following week of Nov 12th - 18th.

I more or less agree with this but would have preferred another Minami Akina image because I just think she's cute as hell.
Server move looks like it will happen next week barring unforseen problems. I may even update to a current build of Danbooru, I will test one out before I do.
I hope niconico-san approves.

Traffic has leveled out to about 10-12 thousand unique visitors a month and we are averaging around half a million pageviews. This is just a drop in the bucket compared to daddy danbooru but as I've concluded huge popularity is probably not a good idea for one-man show who can't even find the time to update his blog regularly. The site has not yet paid for hosting but is getting there which all that I care about. Bandwidth is manageable and as C73 images are popping up all over the place the 70/30 mix of gravure vs cosplay should start to drift back a better mix.

There's only four more in the series but they are here. Hopefully more will be posted later. I'm quite fond of all of Shinbo's recent work this including Tsukuyomi -Moon Phase-, Pani Poni Dash!, Negima!?, Hidamari Sketch and most recently SZS. I keep hoping Gainax will let him do the Evangelion remake but yeah, that'll never happen.
